The 2020 George T. Stagg (GTS) from the Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection (BTAC) is highly sought-after due to its exceptional flavor and quality. It was launched in September 2020 after being aged for over 15 years in new white oak #4 char barrels. The mash bill used for the GTS remains undisclosed, although it is believed to be low-rye. With a cask strength of 130.4 proof, this whiskey is bottled unfiltered and uncut. It was double distilled in the Spring of 2005 and offers a nose that is rich with aromatic hints of baked cinnamon toast, caramel, and plump cherries. On the palate, one can taste the flavors of soft cream, vanilla bean, and light notes of roasted oak planks.
