Springbank distillery, situated in Campbeltown - once known as the 'whisky capital of the world,' traces its history back to 1828 when Archibald Mitchell's illicit still was discovered at the same location. Today, it is owned and run by the Mitchell family's fifth generation, with Hedley G. Wright, Mitchell's great, great grandson, serving as the chairman.
Springbank's commitment to traditional methods is evident in every step of their whisky-making process. The 10 Year Old, a fine example of their craft, is a blend of bourbon and sherry-matured whiskies, delivering a full-bodied spirit with an oaky, dry and sweet finish that is sure to delight whiskey enthusiasts.
