Collection: Appleton Estate

The Appleton Estate, situated in the unique Nassau Valley of Jamaica, holds the distinction of being the oldest sugar estate and distillery on the island. Its operations have been ongoing since around 1749, and it is believed to have been established by Frances Dickinson, who was granted land as recognition for his service to the British government in 1655. The estate and distillery remained within the Dickinson family until it was sold and then re-sold a total of five times. In 1916, Wray & Nephew took over the ownership and management of the facility and brand until Gruppo Campari acquired a majority stake in Wray & Nephew's parent company in 2012.

Under the leadership of the first female Rum Master Distiller and Blender Joy Spence, the Appleton Estate has gained global recognition for its exceptionally crafted and carefully matured rum. The brand offers a range of varieties, including oak-aged rum that has been barrelled for over 50 years, and an extremely limited 800-bottle selection created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Jamaica's independence. With a legacy of excellence spanning 200 years, the Appleton Estate remains committed to producing innovative and high-quality rums that have won awards and captured the hearts of rum enthusiasts worldwide.
