Despite facing a higher malt tax introduced by the Crown in 1785, Bushmills remained loyal to their original recipe and paid the extra fee, earning them a reputation for unwavering quality. Today, the brand offers a range of single malt Irish whiskeys, including the widely favored Original recipe, Black Bush, Red Bush, and the rare Bushmills 1608, among others, which is exclusively available at their distillery shop and duty-free stores. In 2014, Casa Cuervo acquired Bushmills, adding it to their impressive collection of whiskeys, tequilas, vodkas, and rum under the Jose Cuervo product lineup.
