The Wine Geese series presents its second release, following the Château Léoville Barton bottling in 2015. This particular edition of Green Spot Irish single pot still whiskey is matured initially in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and then finished in casks previously used to store Zinfandel wine from Chateau Montelena in Napa Valley, California. The Wine Geese series showcases whiskeys finished in casks from wineries operated by Irish winemakers worldwide, with the Montelena family originating from Waterford.
