This unique age-stated whiskey, released in September 2021, is the first 10-year-old vintage offered by the iconic brand in over a century. The mash bill is composed of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, and the whiskey is derived from select oak barrels housed on the top floors of Daniel's rick house for 8 years before being moved to lower levels to complete their maturation. This process creates a complexity that sets it apart from its siblings. Bottled at 97 proof, this highly collectible whiskey has a nose of banana cream, brown sugar, and vanilla, and a palate of oak, raisins, and caramel.
