Jack Daniel's is one of the most renowned brands of American whiskey and is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional quality, bespoke distillation process, and impeccably smooth taste. Founded in 1875 by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel and Dan Call, a lay-preacher, Jack Daniel's has expanded over the years to include affiliated brands such as Gentlemen Jack and Tennessee Fire. After leaving his home at a young age, Jack was taken in by Call and learned the art of whiskey-making from Nathan 'Nearest' Green - a historically significant figure who was an enslaved African-American man and Call's Master Distiller. Green is also the namesake of the renowned Uncle Nearest Whiskey. Jack Daniel's very first version, Old No. 7 (now known as Jack's Black Label), was introduced in 1876 and has since become the best-selling whiskey in the world.
