Old Forester's 150th Anniversary Bourbon pays tribute to the original process created by George Garvin Brown, and is the fruit of a collaboration between Master Distiller Chris Morris and Master Taster Jackie Zykan. This particular expression is composed of 150 barrels, all hand-selected by Chris and aged for 150 days in specially seasoned wood. Jackie personally tasted and blended all 150 barrels into three distinct flavor profiles and proof points, showcasing the unique taste variations found in barrels depending on where they are located in the Old Forester barrelhouses. The bourbon is presented in a beautiful amber glass bottle, reminiscent of the hand-blown glass from George's era, and is sealed in a commemorative keepsake canister.
