The Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon pays homage to George Garvin Brown's original process and is the result of a collaboration between Master Distiller Chris Morris and Master Taster Jackie Zykan. This particular expression is crafted from a selection of 150 barrels, specially handpicked by Chris, that were aged using wood seasoned for 150 days. Jackie personally tasted and blended all 150 barrels to create three unique flavor profiles and proof points, highlighting the different taste characteristics of barrels based on their location in the Old Forester barrelhouses. The bourbon is presented in an amber glass bottle, reminiscent of the hand-blown glass used during George's time, and is sealed in a commemorative canister that serves as a keepsake.
