Kentucky Bourbon Distillers produces the Black Maple Hill whiskey line, featuring long-aged and special runs of whiskey. This enjoyably spicy rye hails from the Black Maple Hill range, produced in Oregon. The expression offers an interesting combination of freshly ground spice notes atop waves of caramel and maple syrup. Stein Distillery, a pioneer of micro-distilleries in Eastern Oregon, has steadily increased its consumer base since its opening in 2009. In 2011, Stein Distillery released its much-anticipated 2-year American Oak-aged Straight Rye and Straight Bourbon Whiskeys. The distillery maintains meticulous attention to detail from grain growth to harvest, through fermenting, distilling, filtering, and bottling, producing a high-quality product entirely by hand for the consumer.
