CLIX Vodka was crafted with a meticulous process, starting with the sourcing of soft red winter wheat, plump rye, yellow dent corn, and malted barley. The slow cooking and fermenting of the grains took a year to complete. The mash was then distilled 159 times through a series of copper and stainless steel stills, custom-designed for the purpose. The name "CLIX" is derived from the Roman numeral for 159.
Out of the 28,400 gallons of mash, only 332 gallons of vodka were produced, which is equivalent to approximately 2,000 bottles. After distillation, the vodka was aged in stainless steel tanks for a year to ensure a smooth finish. It was then bottled in a custom, lead-free crystal decanter designed by Nouvel Studio, along with a crystal stopper, making it reusable after the vodka is consumed. The decanter was housed in a handcrafted, burl wood case.
