El Arquitecto Enrique Fonseca, a fifth-generation agave cultivator and master distiller from Atotonilco El-Alto, Jalisco (Elev. 4,620'), possesses the largest highland agave holdings in the industry. His unique approach to creating this Añejo selection involves aging 60% of the tequila for 2 years and 40% for 3 years in former cabernet franc wine casks sourced from the Loire Valley in France. These casks are then aged together for an additional year in American white oak barrels, resulting in a complex and unforgettable flavor profile.

ArteNOM is a project created by "Las Joyas del Agave" to offer special expressions from some of the best distilleries or "NOMs" in Jalisco. The number 1146 represents the NOM where this tequila is distilled. With its unique aging process and careful attention to detail, this Añejo selection from Enrique Fonseca is a true testament to the rich history and tradition of high-quality tequila production in Mexico.
