APPEARANCE:
Light honey.
NOSE:
It’s as if someone expressed the orange peel right underneath my nose. There’s also a floral quality present as well, ever so slight, but not overwhelming.
PALETTE:
Smooth, easy, and refreshing on the tongue. Not too oily. Caramel and vanilla carries through. Some light brown sugar develops and mingles with oranges. It’s on the verge of being too sweet, but bearable.
FINISH:
If there’s one common thread amongst this dram is that the caramel definitely follows through in all stages. This is a finish reminiscent of the regular label Blanton’s. I’ve nothing bad to say about it. It’s sweet and decently long, but I still can’t help thinking it may be too watered down and too sweet.
