Clase Azul Guerrero Mezcal is a mezcal made from agave cupreata or Maguey Papalote, a wild-grown agave variety found in the mountain ranges of the Mexican state of Guerrero. The agave's unique growth environment, influenced by its proximity to forests and seas, gives this mezcal a distinct flavor and finish. Guerrero Mezcal is presented in a jade-green, hand-made decanter decorated in the Clase Azul style. This NAS mezcal is bottled at 42% ABV and has a nose of cut grass, wet foliage, smoke, and sweet barbeque seasoned with rosemary, roasted over an open fire. The palate offers notes of apple, lemon, peppermint, and aged cheese layered with hints of fresh agave and wood.
