Master Distiller Willie Pratt decided that a batch, which was initially deemed ready for shipment, required further maturation for an additional year, leaving fans and retailers anticipating its release. The outcome was a new bottling, released at a pleasant 92 proof, that justified the wait. Despite spending more than 10 years in oak, this batch displays a surprisingly fruity character. It features a minimal amount of spicy char notes and instead offers a smooth texture with hints of cinnamon and baking spices, making it a truly delightful sip.
