This particular expression of Jefferson's Bourbon is an exceedingly rare find, with extremely limited quantities available. Only 10,000 bottles have been created for this release, making it a highly sought-after collector's item. The bourbon began its journey as a straight Kentucky Bourbon whiskey and was matured for 10 years using the traditional method of aging in new charred American Oak barrels. Following this initial aging, the Bourbon was emptied from its original barrels and transferred into brand new charred oak barrels, where it was aged for an additional 6 years. This unique double-barrel aging process has resulted in a Bourbon that retains the classic Bourbon flavor profile, while also possessing an added depth of flavor and complexity that can only be achieved through extended aging in new barrels.
