The Irishman's Cask Strength Irish whiskey 2015 release is an exceptional expression that is launched in limited quantities every year. This whiskey is crafted from carefully selected ex-bourbon casks and has a remarkable alcohol by volume of 54%. Only 2,595 bottles were produced. The Irishman Cask Strength Irish Whiskey is a blend of matured The Irishman Single Malt and The Irishman Single Pot Still whiskies, both of which are produced using Irish barley, a crop that flourishes in Ireland's long summer days and mild, wet winters. The barley is malted, mashed, fermented, and triple-distilled through copper pot stills before being aged in ex-bourbon American Oak casks. Every year, Bernard Walsh handpicks a selection of exceptional casks from the distillery's cellars and skillfully blends them to create The Irishman Cask Strength Irish Whiskey.
