The Antique Collection by Buffalo Trace Distillery features a range of premium whiskeys that are both highly sought-after and prized by collectors. Among them is the 2019 edition of their Thomas H. Handy Sazerac straight rye, which effortlessly continues this legacy. This exceptional rye was distilled in the spring of 2013, aged for 6 years and 2 months in new white oak #4 char barrels, and finished to 125.7 proof. Double distilled in BTD beer stills, this whiskey is a blend of Minnesota rye, distiller grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, and N. Dakota malted barley. It offers a rich aroma of malt, leather, and aged paper smoked with tobacco and vanilla, while the palate is treated to bold flavors of clove, lemon rind, and wintergreen mint, enhanced by notes of black tea.
