Classic American oak character of vanilla and coconut on the nose balanced by a healthy dose of rye spice. The longer it sits in the glass the rye becomes more pronounced adding layers of mint and baking spices. Soft and chewy on the palate, no doubt aided by the low 110 entry proof and not being chillfiltered. The coconut and vanilla from the nose wash over the tongue in waves but are always tempered by that kiss of rye. Finishes long and balanced with lingering sweet brown sugar and caramel notes.
